What We Do
Over the past 20 years, we have continually asked the women in the community, “What do you need? What do you want?” The response has been incredible! The women have never failed to demonstrate their resilient spirit and desire to learn.
Knowledge Is Power
Based on the women’s interests and needs, Josephine’s Place maintains an active calendar of workshops, classes, celebrations, outings, and activities. These give the women the knowledge and skills to understand and advocate for their rights, find jobs and build their careers, and take control of their own and their families’ health and welfare.
